  31. Nope, the timeprefs program is not supposed to produce any env:sys/time.prefs
  32. file, not any file at all infact. When you choose "use" it only updates to 
  33. software system time, and when you choose "save" it updates the hardware 
  34. clock on your board. I've discovered that some programs for some reasons
  35. interfer with the save option, so you should try booting without 
  36. startup-sequence, cd to sys:prefs and start time from there. Set the time,
  37. save and exit. Reboot and see if its correct now. If it still shows 1978,
  38. I suggest you should buy a new battery to the board :)
  39. If it _still_ doesnt work, there is some hardware fault somewhere :/
